From concept to delivery, Ricor uses world class project management tools and techniques to ensure project milestones are met whilst excellent communication is maintained with suppliers and customers.

1. Feasibility Studies



Working in close collaboration with our customers using cross functional teams and utilising simulation software such as Dynaform & Pamstamp, Ricor's expertise allows us to identify engineering issues and deliver practical solutions prior to tooling launch.

2. Design / Tooling



Using approved Ricor toolmakers the tooling is designed to our tooling standard direct from CAD incorporating the GD&T. Once the initial schematic layouts are approved by our experienced Engineers we complete the fully detailed tooling designs including 3D models of the finished die.

Each tool has its own fully detailed service catalogue and spares are carried in our in house tool room.

3. Project Timelines



All projects are managed using Microsoft Project software and customers have full visibility of these timelines through our Ricor Exchange Web Portal. Timelines are updated on a regular basis and our customers are notified automatically via e-mail.

4. Part Approval (PPAP)



The final stage of the project, prior to volume production, is the submission and client approval of the completed PPAP documentation.

We incorporate any bespoke customer requirements within this approval process.
